Dream, Ivory (occasionally stylized in lowercase as dream, ivory) is an indie/pop band based in Lake Elsinore, California. The group consists of two brothers: the lead singer and bassist Louie Baello, and the lead guitarist, drummer, and producer Chris Baello.
On July 1, 2016, the duo released their first project, the self-titled EP dream, ivory on all platforms. The EP was met with positive feedback, with the most popular song, also titled “dream, ivory”, coming in at over 200,000 plays. The brothers then released four songs in support of their second upcoming EP, flowerhill drive, which was scrapped in early 2017. After a two year hiatus, the brothers returned in 2019 with “Scorpion”, the first single off their upcoming album, Lost Dogs.
Although well known for their work together as Dream, Ivory, the brothers have excelled in other areas of music as well. Chris is known for his work as Ginseng, a producer who has worked with Mike Posner, XXXTentacion, Famous Dex, Lil Tracy, THOUXANBANFAUNI, Night Lovell, and many others. He also raps under the alias of Lil Wintr. Louie also works as a rapper by the name of Peso Talk, and occasionally collaborates with Wintr.
