About DRAGG

DRAGG, also known as Lawrence Sean Sibanda, is a Johannesburg born artist who’s parents were originally from Zimbabwe. Although his parents eventually migrated to England, DRAGG decided to return to Zimbabwe and “came to realise that Bulawayo and Johannesburg were culturally, linguistically and musically very interwoven”. At the age of twelve, DRAGG was diagnosed with a severe case of meningitis; resulting in the deterioration of his eyesight and hearing. Refusing to allow this hinderance to prevent accomplishment, DRAGG honed his rhyming talent and has shared the stage with the likes of The Game, JLS, Wretch 32, Tim Westwood, DJ ACE and more.

Dragg has worked with British talent such as Paigey cakey, OD Hunte, Abel Miller and Lady Leshurr. the ‘Let The Beat Breathe’ collab with Leshurr was One of his most successful tracks in 2015, and amassed almost one-hundred and twenty-six thousand streams on Spotify alone, and about five hundred thousand views on Youtube independently. With numbers like that, it’s fair to say that Dragg has thoroughly established himself within the music industry.
