Dr. Elmo Shropshire, better known as just Dr. Elmo, is a country singer, competitive runner and veterinarian, best known for the song “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer”, which he co-wrote with his then-wife Patsy. After divorcing his wife, Shropshire continued performing under the name Dr. Elmo. He also co-wrote and voiced Grandpa and the narrator in a special based on the song, Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, which continues to be played to this fucking day.
