Doves is a rock band from Cheshire, England composed of Jimi Goodwin and twin brothers Jez and Andy Williams. The trio were originally a dance band named Sub Sub. They initially performed from 1998-2010, releasing four albums. They went on indefinite hiatus in 2010, with Goodwin embarking on a solo career while the Williams brothers formed a new band, Black Rivers.
In 2019, Doves reformed for some shows. In June of the following year they released “Carousels”, their first new material in 11 years and also the first single from their upcoming fifth album.
