About Doodlebug

Rapper Craig “Doodlebug” Irving was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 20, 1967. He was a member of the early ‘90’s rap trio Digable Planets spawning such hits as “Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like That)” and “Nickel Bags (of Funk)” from the group’s acclaimed debut album, February 1995’s Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space) and their sophomore album, October 1994’s Blowout Comb. The group subsequently broke up in 1995 due to creative differences. All three members embarked on solo careers.
