Television actor and Musician, DONIS LEONARD JR. also known professionally as DONIS WINTER or more simply, “WINTER”, is most well known for his portrayal of Roscoe Kaan, the son of Don Cheadle’s character Marty Kaan, on the hit Showtime series House of Lies. Musically, WINTER has two singles out on apple music. “Fortress” and “Mastermind.” WINTER is currently working on his first major studio album.

Before Fame
He made started music out of his mothers garage in at age 14, and is making all the right moves. WINTER is on our “2018 Artist to Watch List.” He started acting at age 7, and His first acting role was a independent short film titled “His Good Will” in 2008. The project won multiple awards, such as: The “Montgomery Prize/ Best Film By an Emerging Director” at the Chicago International Film Festival in 2008, the “Golden Kahuna Award” at the Honolulu International Film Festival, the “Silver Wave Award” at the Silver Wave film Festival in 2009, and the “Most Inspirational Short Film” at the Real to Reel Film and Video festival in 2009. Donis also earned one of his earliest major acting roles in 2009 playing Young Shout on Nickelodeon’s The Fresh Beat Band, was on an episode of Criminal Minds, And Tyler Perry’s “For Better Or Worse”
