Donda West (born July 12, 1949 – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; died November 10, 2007 – Marina del Rey, California), is Kanye West’s mother. She got married to Ray West, an American actor and photojournalist.

Donda was a professor, however, she didn’t have much money while raising Kanye.
