Don Black is a British lyricist and songwriter who has created many iconic soundtrack songs, namely
the James Bond songs “Thunderball”, “The Man with the Golden Gun”, and “Diamonds Are Forever”, among other hits. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2007.
