Dominika Peczynski

Dominika Peczynski, born on September 20, 1970, is a Polish-Swedish singer, model, and television host. She gained prominence as a member of the Swedish pop music group Army of Lovers.

In 1992, Peczynski joined Army of Lovers and made her debut with the group by releasing “Hasta Mañana”, a cover of the ABBA song. Prior to joining the group, she already knew the other members as they had connections through the modeling industry. Peczynski had worked with Michaela Dornonville de la Cour and Camilla Henemark at the same modeling agency, and she had personal relationships with Jean-Pierre Barda and Alexander Bard.

After the split of Army of Lovers, Peczynski pursued a career as a television presenter. She hosted various Swedish and international shows, including the Swedish version of “Temptation Island” and her own program called “Dominika’s Planet”, which aired in the UK. In 1998, she posed for Playboy magazine. Since 2002, Peczynski has been running a public relations company.

In 2005, Peczynski embarked on a new music project called Nouveau Riche, alongside Ulrich Bermsjö. They released their debut single, “Oh Lord”, in November 2005. However, Peczynski left the band after the release of their second single, “Hardcore Life”.She was later replaced by another female singer, and her contributions were removed from subsequent releases and marketing materials.

Peczynski also participated in the celebrity dance show “Let’s Dance” in 2017, which aired on TV4. In 2018, she founded Treatya.com, a booking platform for beauty treatments at home.

On a personal note, Peczynski grew up in a Jewish family. She has two children: a daughter named Hannah Sabina Edna Bahri, born in August 2000, from her relationship with Claes Bahri, and a son named Harry Bartal, born in August 2011, from her relationship with Yoav Bartal. Since 2015, Peczynski has been in a relationship with Sweden’s former Minister of Finance, Anders Borg. They got married on November 3, 2018. However, in June 2022, Peczynski announced that she and Borg had filed for an immediate divorce without time for reflection.
