DJ Steve The Boogah Maine

Steve Pettis, better known as DJ Steve The Boogah Maine, is a US producer hailing from Memphis, Tennessee. Steve is connected with Gimi Sum Productions, the Gimisum Family, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, the Skimask Troopaz, and Skinny’s older brother, Big Hill. Back in 1994, Steve co-produced the legendary Gimisum Dungeon tape alongside Skinny Pimp. In addition to several other projects (including tapes from Skinny Pimp and the Gimisum Family), Tha Gimisum Dungeon stands out as one of those tapes that got the remaster treatment—fully pressed, distributed, and released by Trill Hill Tapes, limited to just 250 copies back in 2021.
