DJ Rozwell is the solo musical project of James Sherrill of West Virginia. After being influenced by DJ Shadow’s record Endtroducing… around the age of 13, James would start making his own music from samples of old movies and episodes of Coast to Coast AM (e.g. SOUNDS FROM HELL) in Audacity. Over the course of several years, he created many beats, that would later on be compiled into his first three releases: NONE OF THIS IS REAL, Slush Country, and Sludge Dredd.
