DJ Akademiks

Livingston Allen (born May 17, 1991), professionally known as DJ Akademiks, is a media personality, YouTuber, and live streamer. He is known for providing commentary on issues and news in the hip-hop community in a slightly satirical manner.

Akademiks rise to fame is primarily attributed to his coverage of hip-hop news and being the co-host of Complex’s popular YouTube web series Everyday Struggle alongside Wayno and moderator Nadeska Alexis.

Other than hip-hop commentary, Akademiks has a musical alter-ego by the stage name Lil AK. Under the persona, he has released singles “Blues Clues” and “Triggers” as well as his December 2018 EP Clout Chasers.
