Hailing from Northampton, rapper Dizmack is a veteran of the UK rap scene, known for his genre-blending music that brings together grime, hip hop with rock, folk and EDM. Dizmack’s technical lyricism brings to the front his thoughtful and transparent lyrics that swing between jovially irreverent and confessional. Dizmack’s prolific songwriting talent and lyricism have been long recognised within the music industry and he has worked with some of the best talents across genres. In 2013, Dizmack co-wrote the critically acclaimed Your Love Hurts EP with Billy Lockett. In 2014, Dizmack became a member of the BDL collective led by grime pioneer Big Narstie. Constantly working and showcasing his music, Dizmack has toured and supported Bone Thugs ‘N’ Harmony, Billy Lockett, Big Narstie, Izzie Gibbs, Foreign Beggars, Nolay, among others. By day, Dizmack’s creative eclecticism translates into his personal life. Dizmack holds a masters and supervises lectures in traditional Chinese medicine (is also training to be a doctor), practises as an acupuncturist and a member of the Order of the Knights of St John. Dizmack is working on the release of his new EP, Shenmen, a genre meshing project incorporating electronic and hip hop sounds that brings to the forefront the talented rapper’s lyricism and ear for superb production.
