Nathan Tokosi, better known as DigDat (b. November 10, 1999), is a UK drill rapper from Deptford, South East London. He gained widespread fame for his song “Air Force,” which entered the UK Singles Chart at number 93 in September 2018, shedding light on him as one of the most promising Drill rappers in the UK.
DigDat was imprisoned at the age of 13 for a heavy offence that has yet to be disclosed, being released at 18 after a 5 year sentence. Bouncer, a member from Krept & Konan’s Play Dirty label, was the first person to fully discover DigDat, later becoming his manager. This was done through connections he had with DigDat’s brother Tim during his 11-year prison sentence in HMP Thameside, according to the #MLC Podcast. The pair have since split and no longer work together.
He released his first mixtape on January 17, 2020, which was named Ei8ht Mile, and included features from Aitch, Headie One, D-Block Europe and Tee Grizzley. The mixtape was a commercial success, landing on the UK Top 20 Album Charts at Number 12.
