Rapper DiegoDaKid started his career off in the 4th grade when he began making beats and rapping. However his old 4th grade songs are not released officially, there are leaks of old songs starting to come out. Despite all this work his debut single “Clout” came out on November 30 2019. He gained an alright following and has even started producing more professionally with friend and producer, Vlone Ross. Diego has worked with longtime artists like Riptoqwerty, and Lis X, while he’s newly worked with artists like SSJChop, Lil Taquito, Jaydee and more. He then released an album called “DDD Life” on Janurary 10th 2020 which had features like SIR $KEET, Zayvr, Riptoqwerty, and more. On Janurary 2nd however, he dropped his first music video for his song and classic called “Whore” he began releasing more music videos after this one. He also began a bit of an on and off rivalry with rapper riptoqwerty or by his other name, YUNG SATO. They went off and on and now their on alright terms and have even considered a colab album together. On Janurary 14th 2020 Diego released his 2nd album titled “Thots” this album had hit songs Ice On My Wrist featuring Zayvr and Riptoqwerty and others like Dead Opps with Lil Kiol and Thots 2, the album however only did alright with most of the songs not reaching high except for Ice On My Wrist. Diego at time after releasing Thots took a bit of a break getting more into social media and working on new music and on Februrary 10 2020 Diego and partner Snorkatje released there ep titled “Mixed Emotions” and I belive that the title comes from the two artists paths of Diego talking about the lit times and the woman and drugs he does while Snorkatje handles his lyrics with woman again but always talking about a heartbreak and thats where the title comes from. Its another project that gets underwhelmed and did alright but still didnt reach points like DDD Life did. while we dont have too much information on the ep we do know that rapper YC Mix was suppose to appear on the ep but never did for unknown reasons. Now much like Thots after this ep he took another break and just worked on new music. And on April 23rd of 2020, DiegoDaKids peaking album was relelased. The album was titled DDD Life 2 and potrayed as a sequel to DDD Life. The album skyrocketed and boosted Diego to another point with many hits on the project like Isaiah Diss Track, Rainbow Road, Fake Friends, Whacked and more, this is also the time Diego started working with fellow producer Vlone Ross who produced Isaiah Diss Track featuring Lil Taquito. Now after this project Diego took a serious break from rapping as at this point he was on top and did more edits for peoples videos. He returned to rapping on May 1 when he dropped his single Woah produced by Vlone Ross, he went back after to more editing and on May 21 2020 Diego dropped the dream colab of his discography with the song Pop Out with Fyn Lay and Fyn Chipo, the track was produced again by Vlone Ross who completed the dream colab we got from the song. A fun fact about the song is that Vlone Ross really shaped it by getting in contact with Chipo first who brought in Lay and Ross who brought in Diego and they worked and made a new Ice On My Wrist this time with Diego has never done before which is drill music, the beat produced by Vlone Ross is heavily inspired by artists like pop smoke and has a heavy drill vibe.
