About Deyra Barrera

Deyra Barrera is a talented mariachi singer and songwriter from Villa Juárez, Sonora, Mexico. She immigrated to the United States in 1993 and has built a successful career in regional Mexican music. Barrera has performed on various national and international singing reality TV shows, including La Reina de la Canción, La Voz, and La Academia.

Recently, she gained widespread recognition for her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar on his album “GNX,” where her voice is featured on three tracks: “Wacced Out Murals,” “Reincarnated,” and “Gloria”. This collaboration came about after Kendrick Lamar heard her perform at the 2024 World Series in tribute to the late Mexican baseball player Fernando Valenzuela.
