About DeYarmond Edison

DeYarmond Edison is best known for being the former band of guitarist/vocalist Justin Vernon, front man of Bon Iver and Volcano Choir.

Active from 2002-2006, the band was named after his full name “Justin DeYarmond Edison Vernon” The three other members later went on to create the freak folk group Megafaun.

DeYarmond Edison reunited in 2016 with Bruce Hornsby to perform “Black Muddy River” on the Grateful Dead tribute album Day Of The Dead.
