DeVo D. is a singer/songwriter hailing from the Castle Hill section of the Bronx, NY. Growing up in New York City, the birthplace of Hip Hop, DeVo draws a heavy influence from the lyricism and grit of the genre while blending it with smooth vocals and immense range. His ability to both sing and rap at an elite level have compelled fans, A&Rs & industry professionals to christen him as the “holy grail” of urban music.
DeVo D currently has a publishing deal with SONGS Music Publishing, joining a roster comprised of the Weeknd, Lorde, DJ Mustard and Diplo, among others. He co-wrote Nelly’s latest single “The Fix” featuring Jeremih, produced by DJ Mustard and Mike Free, which has now been certified platinum by the RIAA. He’s also worked with artists and producers such as; Nelly, Nipsey Hussle, Jeremih, Karina Pasian, Steve Aoki, Kygo, DJ Mustard, !llmind, Salt N Pepa, and many more. He also made a guest appearance on We TV’s hit series “Growing Up Hip Hop” being touted as one of New York’s rising songwriting stars.
