Colombian / Italian artist and songwriter, Desta French is pioneering a new Latin London sound. Her broad range of influences span from RnB, salsa, cumbia, Latin Jazz, hip-hop, lo-fi, grime, and Latin pop music.

Songs like ‘Guajira’ and ‘Into the Wave’ from her EP San Lazarus have been laying down the blueprint for a new generation of British Latinx creatives — unique from the internationally-recognised diaspora established in the United and the rest of the world.
