The Descendents are a punk rock band from Manhattan Beach, CA. The band’s lineup consists of Milo Aukerman on lead vocals, Bill Stevenson on drums, Karl Alvarez on bass, and Stephen Egerton on guitar. Since their debut album, Milo Goes to College, a landmark for punk rock, the band has gone to record a large number of catchy, poppy, melodic hardcore songs about coffee, girls, food, coffee, growing up, fishing, and most importantly, coffee. After many hiatuses, the band reformed in 2010 for some live shows and returned once again with a new studio album, Hypercaffium Spazzinate, released in July 2016.
