He was born in Bergen, the East coast of Norway. There, musicians were very common, so he was encouraged a lot about music. His parents gave him his first instrument at age four and he instantly loved it. He continued to play and in his tween years he wrote his first song. He was later approached by A&R about his music career and became the singer we know and love today.
