deLillos is a Norwegian band formed in 1984, and is considered one of the big four bands of Norwegian rock. They’re named after frontman Lars Lillo-Stenberg, who is also the primary songwriter of the band.
Unlike the other big three, their sound is primarily focused around pop rock and indie rock instead of post-punk. As such, they have perhaps had the most pop success of the big four, with their song “Neste sommer” being nominated for the greatest Norwegian pop hit of all time during the 2001 Årets Spelleman awards.
In the late 2000s, the band existed as two different entities; deLillos, with their contemporary lineup, and deLillos'85, with their 1985 lineup.
