Deezy Low is a 15-year-old rap artist from Phoenix, Arizona. He started rapping in March of 2017, and came into the rap game hard with singles like “Finesse” and “Overdose”. He owns his own independent label, ZBE (Zona Boy Entertainment), where he works alongside his friends, Almighty Skeezy and Marley Fleezy.
Deezy found his passion for rap from his big brother. When he was in the 4th grade, his brother showed him the “Ferrari Boyz” album by Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame. He said he became “addicted” to rap ever since. His main rap influences are Montana of 300 and Kodak Black. The young artist says that although he likes a wide variety of artists, these are the ones he connects to personally. His 7th grade year, he had many run-ins with the law due to violence, and while on punishment, decided to start an independent label. He signed his cousin Michael, better known by Almighty Skeezy, who later convinced Deezy to rap too.
After dropping his first track, a remix of Lud Foe’s “Cuttin’ Up”, he immediately started growing. He dropped a song every week, accumulating plays and gaining attention locally. Weeks later, his track “Finesse” earned a Top 10 spot on Jango radio. He recently made his way onto iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and more.
Deezy is currently looking to begin performing, and hopes to do features with other artists, as he hasn’t dropped a track since he was 14 years old. He has announced on social media that his long awaited “Passion 4 Trappin” mixtape will be released in September of 2017. His first few months in the rap game have been very successful, and we expect much more to come from the young artist.
