C.J Ofoma (born 26 July 2003), known professionally as Deca OTA or simply Deca, is a British rapper & songwriter from Barnet, United Kingdom, he is known most notably for his introspective lyricism & storytelling, he is also a founding member of UK rap collective Free Imprint.

Deca released his first single titled “Far from average” in 2021, later on releasing one more single that same year titled interlude, both singles featuring fellow artist MLB, he subsequently released one song the following year, Cincinnati in 2022, a song scrutinised for its potentially controversial content. He then went on to release a multitude of singles throughout 2023, (these being Lofty Dreams (2023), Countless Nights, & No Trust).
These releases were left with mixed reviews and varying success, it was not until early 2024 however, where Deca saw critical acclaim and recognition for his music, with the release of titles, Lost in the stars (featuring Afu), and self titled Free Imprint, a song that garnered worldwide attention primarily on TikTok, through the use of short-form promotion, the song (produced by Tayoloxs) caught the attention of notable names in the uk scene, including Nemzzz, blanco, & Knucks.

Free imprint (2024) was met with widespread critical acclaim and surpassed over 100k digital streams within the first 7 days of its release..
It was in may of 2024 however; where he saw his most commercially successful song to date, Through The Fire, a spiritually influenced record exploring themes of redemption, introspection and spiritual guidance, the song was released subsequently after Deca’s spiritual awakening in the Christian faith, the song has since become one of his most notable releases, garnering over 1 million streams to date, Deca represents a unique driving force in UK rap, his spiritual lyricism intertwined with the foundational principles of modern contemporary hip hop gives makes him quite the anomalous figure in a scene that has recently become so akin to conformity.
