David Shaw, born June 6, 1983, is the front-man and lead singer of The Revivalists. He grew up in Hamilton, Ohio but later moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where The Revivalists were soon formed.

Notably, “Wish I Knew You,” a track written and sung by Shaw, reached #1 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart in May 2017 and was certified platinum by RIAA in September 2017.
