Darrell Scott is a country singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, Tennessee. He has placed songs with some of the most popular names in country music.
Born on a tobacco farm in London, Kentucky in 1959, Scott is the son of musician Wayne Scott. By his teenage years, he was playing professionally in Southern California, and he relocated to Nashville to get into the country music business around 1995. In 1997, Sugar Hill released his debut album, Aloha from Nashville. His musical career soon flourished, and he has since collaborated with musicians such as Tim O'Brien, Sam Bush, Mary Gauthier, and Kate Rusby.
