Singer/Songwriter Dante Suarez (professionally known as DanteWuzHere) was born in Florida and grew up in the music mecca of Atlanta, Georgia. A chance meeting with industry veteran Debra Killings jump-started his love for the recording studio and writing songs. The turning point for the ambitious singer occurred when his former manager took him to RCA Records resulting in a recording contract and subsequently his debut album Inferno which featured powerhouse production from Bryan Michael Cox, Organized Noize, and Allstar but was unreleased.
Stepping aside to hone his writing skills he began collaborating with other musicians, ultimately landing him in Tokyo where he created an album with the punk indie band, The Lost CTRL entitled Electric Mayhem. Embarking on a Japanese tour as well.
In 2018 he became a Juno Award Nominee with a song contribution (the single Disturbed) for Indigenous Pop Artist, Iskwé’s album, The Fight Within (Indigenous Music Album Of The Year.) DanteWuzHere’s silky, soulful vocals are woven throughout his highly anticipated EP Paradiso led by his plea to the world, the gritty bass and synth-driven single Heaven Help Us. Heaven Help Us is reminiscent in importance to the cries and messages to society in such songs as Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On,” John Lennon’s “Imagine” and Kanye West’s “Jesus Walks.” His incredibly diverse EP Paradiso, has contributions from Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Ryan Toby (Usher, Chris Brown and Mary J. Blige,) Billionaire Focus Group and New York-based Altmann Productions, producer of Heaven Help Us.
When not in the studio, DanteWuzHere can be found modeling and acting, appearing in major ad campaigns, films and has been featured in fashion magazines across the country and internationally.
