“Danny Wilson” are a trio from Scotland, none of which have first name Danny or last name Wilson. They are Gary Clark (lead vocals), Kit Clark (lead guitar and backing vocals) and Ged Grimes (bass and backing vocals). Their name and debut album are instead named after the Frank Sinatra film Meet Danny Wilson.
They are also regarded as a one-hit wonder with their number-3 UK-charting hit single “Mary’s Prayer”.
