Danny Cummings

Danny Cummings is a British session drummer. Since the zenith of his career in the 1980s, Cummings has performed for a wide swath of popular artists, including Dire Straits (a band he’s closely associated with, performing on three of Mark Knopfler’s solo albums and two by keyboard player Guy Fletcher), Tina Turner, George Michael, Elton John, Phil Collins, Pet Shop Boys, David Sylvian, Depeche Mode and Penguin Café Orchestra.
