About Danitello

Daniel Okas aka Danitello is a 2x Grammy nominated Polish-Finnish producer and an ex-singer and ski jumper who placed 3rd in Polish Junior Championship in 2011. He has worked with some of Finland’s biggest artists, including Isac Elliot, Sexmane, HUGO and Costi.

Before he started producing music, Daniel was uploading piano covers to his YouTube channel; one of them, “Lean On”, originally by Major Lazer & DJ Snake, has gathered more than 400k views.

His professional music career started after releasing “Justin” with TUULI, which led him to sign a contract with Universal Music Finland when he was 18. In 2017, he released his debut solo single “Tanssit Mulle”. In 2018, he released “Pari Pisaraa” about his friend, Antoni Juroszek, a Polish ski-jumper who tragically died at the age of 15.

In 2022, he was nominated for the Grammy’s Best Global Music Album for his work on Burna Boy’s Love, Damini and again in the same category a year later for his work with Burna Boy on his album I Told Them….
