Danielle Anne Brisebois, born June 28, 1969, was a Golden Globe nominated actress for her work on All in the Family and Archie Bunker’s Place. As she reached adulthood, she began a career in music as a recording artist. She did backing vocals for Intoxifornication from Gregg Alexander, her now long-term songwriting/producing collaborator.
In the 1990s, she put out two solo albums. She was also a member of and songwriter for the New Radicals. She later wrote or co-wrote a number of songs for other singers.
In 2015, Brisebois and Alexander were nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song for the song “Lost Stars” from the film “Begin Again”.
