Daniel Higgs is a musician, poet and painter from Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He is known primarily for his work as the lyricist and lead singer of the four-piece post-hardcore band Lungfish. In recent years, Higgs has released a number of solo albums weaving meditative, casually ruptured drones using acoustic and electric guitar, harmonium, banjo and mouth harp. Since 2015, Higgs and his partner Fumie Ishii record and perform together as Fountainsun.
