Damon Edwards, aka Dangerous Dame, was a rapper from Oakland, California. He was associated with fellow Oakland rapper Too $hort’s Dangerous Crew, and released a number of locally popular songs throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. In January of 2023, it was reported that Dame died on the 25th of that month from unspecified causes.
