Dan Kelly is an Australian indie rock musician and nephew of famed singer-songwriter Paul Kelly. He has appeared on various Paul Kelly tracks, as well as releasing music as a solo artist and with his band, Dan Kelly & The Alpha Males.

Beginning his musical career in the 2000s, he used the name Dank Alley to avoid infringing on his uncle’s recognizable name. He released his first EP, Man O Mercy in 2002.

From 2004–2007, Kelly worked with musicians Gareth Liddiard, Christian Strybosch and Tom Carlyon under the band name Dan Kelly & The Alpha Males.
