Daniel Jason “Soupy” Campbell is an American musician from Lansdale, PA, best known for being the lead vocalist and lyricist for Philadelphian pop-punk band The Wonder Years.

Campbell also makes music as Aaron West, a fictional singer-songwriter, in his side project Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties, as well as being in Clear Eyes Fanzine, a “Friday Night Lights” inspired group that Campbell started with frequent collaborator, Ace Enders.

He has also dabbled in record production and artist management, having worked with artists such as Trash Boat, Mixtapes, and A.W..

Campbell went to Temple University to study English and education. Prior to The Wonder Years becoming a full-time commitment, he was student teaching at various schools across Philadelphia, preparing to become a secondary school English teacher. During his final year, he released a poetry chapbook called Paper Boats, or Some Poems I Wrote.
