Damon McMahon is an American singer-songwriter and musician. He started his career in a band called Inouk with his brother Alexander McMahon. The band imploded after releasing a critically acclaimed EP. McMahon then released an album under his own name, which was poorly received by critics. McMahon subsequently moved to China and only came back to States after a label offered to release an album he had made under the moniker of Amen Dunes. Since then he’s released four more albums as Amen Dunes and has been join by Delicate Steve on guitar, and Parker Kindred (Antony & The Johnsons, Jeff Buckley) on drums.
