Dacdplays is an American songwriter and singer with music in the alternative/indie music genre

He’s best known for his songs “Used Before” or “Tell Me That You Care” and has a growing fan base on all of his platforms.

Dacdplays or Andrew Cherry was born in Panama City, Florida on (08/24/2003).

Andrew from a young age realized he had a talent for music and a distinct interest in the strange or different aspects of life, often he could be found singing or composing new sounds and has begun turning these new sounds into songs. He started making music in February of 2020 after a close brush with death due to a Suicide Attempt by Drug Overdose on his 16th Birthday, after this scaring event he made the decision to quit drugs all together and dedicate his time and efforts into making music for others who have been or are in a similar situation in their lives. His music is inspired by his emotional scars and past trauma’s from life and has often been interpreted as not only an outlet for him but a way to express himself.

Andrew dropped out of high school at the age of 15 in pursuit of something more from life, when interviewed he can be quoted for saying, “School just felt so…Pointless, It felt like I was meant to be so much more than this, I knew I was destine for something and music has always been apart of my life since I was little. I’m very grateful to be able to help people with my music, It’s the one thing that keeps me going…I wouldn’t give it up for anything.
