One of the most celebrated African musicians of all-time, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanj, also known as D'Banj or the Kokomaster, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, businessman, television personality and rapper.
He has won a total of 29 of the 87 awards that he has been nominated for over his lengthy career.
Oyebanj and record producer Don Jazzy co-founded the label Mo'Hits Recods, which went on to sign artists, including D'Banj himself, Wande Coal, Dr SID, D'Prince and Oyebanj’s brother Kayswitch. In June of 2011, D'Banj signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music record label and was featured on their Cruel Summer compilation album.
His discography consists of 5 studio albums, 2 compliation albums and one extended play, however, he is best known for his single “Oliver Twist”, which peaked at number 2 on the UK R&B Singles Chart in 2012. The video featured West and then-GOOD Music labelmates, Big Sean and Pusha T.
