About Curse ov Dialect

Curse ov Dialect was the first Australian hip-hop group to score a deal with an American record label – Mush Records.

With a politically conscious message, their intensive surrealistic live performances have a strong visual dimension.

Melbourne-based, they were formed in 1994, with their members coming from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds. This diversity is reflected on their music, through a strong anti-racist, anti-homophobic and multicultural message and samples from all over the world.

The group currently consists of MCs Raceless, Vulk Makedonski and Atarungi and DJ/producer Pasobionic. Past members have included August the 2nd & Malice. Japanese rapper Kaigen is a frequent collaborator.

They have toured extensively, having performed in Europe, the USA and Japan.
