Cults is an American indie pop band formed in New York City in 2010 and led by Brian Oblivion (vocals, guitar, keyboards, percussion) and Madeline Follin (vocals). They dated throughout the creation and release of their first album, Cults. They did end up breaking up but they continued creating music. They are still active creating their 60’s pop sounding dream hazy music with Madelines high vocals harmonizing.
