About CRAVITY

CRAVITY (KOR: 크래비티) is a South Korean boy group under Starship Entertainment, the third to debut under the agency after BOYFRIEND and MONSTA X. The group name stands for “Center of Gravity” while also combining the words “creativity” and “gravity”. CRAVITY debuted in April 2020 with “Break All The Rules.”

The group consists of nine members: Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin. Prior to the group’s debut, four of the nine members participated on survival show PRODUCE X 101, with all four making it to the finale. Members Minhee and Hyeongjun made it into the winning group X1, who promoted for six months before ultimately disbanding due to a controversy with the Produce series. With members of X1, CRAVITY is one of the “post-X1” groups alongside DRIPPIN, BAE173, MIRAE and YOUNITE.

CRAVITY started their career with the Hideout trilogy of albums, each title track—"Flame“ to ”My Turn“— being very intense and bass-heavy, fitting to the trend of Korean boy group music at the time. They then released a two-part first album: the first instalment led by the intense ”Gas Pedal“ and the second by bright EDM ”Adrenaline.“ From 2022 on, CRAVITY’s sound shifted to a more upbeat youthful style, with following releases ”PARTY ROCK“ and ”Groovy“ taking on brighter, party-style rhythms.

The group made their Japanese debut in July 2023 with a Japanese version of “Groovy” under Victor Entertainment, followed by their December 2023 EP Dilly Dally featuring Japanese versions of some of the group’s 2022 hits, “Adrenaline,” “PARTY ROCK” and “Maybe Baby.”
