Cptn Kirk is an MC based in Amsterdam,The Netherlands and born in Heraklion, Crete, Greece.
By the age of 11 he started writing his first lyrics after falling in love with the culture of Hip Hop.
By being a creator by nature, he wanted to do it too! Creating his own tracks and blasting them loud on the speakers!.After recording his first song a few year later, he just kept going!Realising that’s what he wanted to do. By being a graffiti writer (writing as DAS) he got in contact with more people from the hip hop scene.
Even thought it was unusual for a greek kid to rap in english,people really rocked with him,and saw that raw talent with a twisted mind and a drive to succeed.
Doin’ shows all round Greece and battling anyone coming on his way,Cptn Kirk earned his spot. He created a collective called Monster Footprints,gathering dope artists from around the world,doin all kinds of art and that’s when the first releases came out.
Around 2011 Cptn Kirk relocated to The Netherlands after travelling a lot and working like crazy, for a better way of living.That’s when he got involved with Elite Fleet,one of dopest teams in Amsterdam that keep hip hop on the level its supposed to be.
Being influenced by some of the greats like, Guru, BIG PUN, A.T.C.Q, and many more, he tries to step his game up everyday and keep it on a level they would approve!
