Corin Tucker

Corin Lisa Tucker (born November 9, 1972 in Eugene, Oregon) is an American singer-songwriter, and guitarist, best known for being the co-founder and co-lead singer of the vital riot grrrl rock group Sleater-Kinney after the break-up of her first band, Heavens To Betsy She also leads her own side project, the Corin Tucker Band. She is also co-founder and lead singer/co-songwriter of indie supergroup Filthy Friends with long time friend Peter Buck of R.E.M. fame.
