“I started going to the studio at the age of 14. I used to be around King Tubby’s studio and that’s when my interest in engineering developed. York began producing in 1992 when his uncle started a label called C&G Music. One year later, he teamed with Lynford ‘Fatta’ Marshall to start Fat Eyes label which produced a number of hit songs including Want You Back by Singing Melody, Memories by Beenie Man, Stuckie (Bounty Killer), In or Out (Capleton), Jah Works (Terror Fabulous), Video Light (Mr Lexx and Mr Vegas), and Put Down Your Weapon by Capleton and Yami Bolo.
