Clifford Thomas Ward (born February 10, 1944, died December 18, 2001) was an English singer-songwriter who released 13 studio albums, his best known album being “Home Thoughts” and the hit single “Gaye”. He suffered from multiple sclerosis and died at the age of 57. His songs have been covered by Cliff Richard, Jack Jones, Art Garfunkel, Judy Collins, Brian Kennedy and Rumer.
