ClariS (クラリス) is a J-Pop duo from Hokkaido, Japan. The duo was formed in 2009 by members Clara and Alice, who were in their early teens at the time and released song covers online. Their talent was quickly noticed, and the duo signed to SME Records in 2010.

In 2014, after releasing three albums together, Alice left ClariS and was replaced by Karen.

ClariS is well known for their songs featured in various anime and Japanese films, including Oreimo, Madoka Magica, Monogatari, Nisekoi, and Eromanga Sensei. “Connect” (コネクト) from Madoka Magica and “Hitorigoto” (ヒトリゴト) from Eromanga Sensei have gained considerable popularity.

ClariS has maintained a mysterious aesthetic through the use of masquerade-style masks during stage performances and posting photos only with parts of their face.
