Bolton born vocalist and producer Chrystal makes modern alternative pop – with sleek beats, bouncy hooks and a distinctive, idiosyncratic Northern delivery. It’s the kind of bold, surprising sound people have come to expect from her.

Following on from her debut tracks Waves (a co-production with Nao and Bonzai collaborator John Calvert) and New Shoes (produced by 169), Chrystal has recently released her new single 2 Real .

And things have been moving fast for Chrystal since Waves dropped in August. After bagging a spot in i-D’s Class of ‘18 line-up and securing fans at publications including The FADER, FACT Magazine and Trench, with radio support from Beats 1 and MistaJam, Jamz Supernova and DJ Target at BBC Radio 1Xtra, this year is looking bright.
