New Zealand musician, producer and label owner. From Upper Hutt near Wellington he drummed with 1960s New Zealand pop stars Fourmyula and went to the UK with the band in 1969. By 1976 he was an A&R manager at Polydor, signing The Jam and Siouxsie and The Banshees. He then created his own label Fiction Records and signed The Cure, whom he managed for some years. Parry sold Fiction to Universal in 2001.
