Christopher J. Allen’s obsession with technology began at an early age through messing around with early Apple computers and PCs. Chris went on to study the piano during school years, which, combined with a fascination for the emerging electronic music scene, led to him experimenting with computers to make music.
After several years of dedicated work and a short course in Music Technology, Chris was asked to design and build a studio for the then newly formed Serious Records label in North London. A gig as in-house engineer at Serious followed where Chris cut his teeth working with the then unknown Sonique, co-producing massive hits from her platinum selling album.
This success, albeit in a more commercial area, gave Chris the grounding and confidence to develop his own ideas and begin to forge a career in his own right. Chris’ promising early demos led to numerous remix requests from major labels and eventually an album deal with Distinct'ive Breaks Records.
