Chok Kerong is a recognised Singaporean artist, distinguished as a keyboardist, composer, songwriter, and producer. With a career spanning various genres including jazz, soul, R&B, pop, and classical, his works are celebrated for their clarity and depth.
He has performed and worked with renowned artists and ensembles both locally and internationally, and has released instrumental jazz albums like “Good Company” (2012) and “Tales They Told Me” (2017), as well as the collaborative album “Spiral” (2023) with Vanessa Fernandez.
Beyond his performing and composing, Chok Kerong is also an influential educator, teaching at institutions like the National University of Singapore and LASALLE College of the Arts, and serving as Assistant Executive Director and Deputy Music Director of the Jazz Association (Singapore).
